CHALLENGE
Creating characters and a new brand with boundless creativity and imagination was the key to this fun project. Creating characters from scratch and developing a story, environment, brand identity, style guide, and applicable products was challenging yet exciting.
SOLUTION
I was fascinated by Yayoi Kusama’s life story and her works. The creation of the main character, Aiko, was inspired by Yayoi Kusama’s childhood.
Aiko is a two-year-old girl who loves to spend time creating her artwork with red dots and circles. She carries anger inside her due to challenges in her life, but later, it becomes a passion for a dream of being an artist. Take a peak at her exciting adventure with her new friends, Mia and Bo!
